Resurected...?


Its been almost a year since my poor planning for backing up a project of this size plus a hard drive error led to an end to development that had become way too frustrating.  I finally managed to recover a complete version of the project.  Will there be more?  Don't know.

For now this does the following:

  • New engine version
  • Reverts some poorly made changes several versions, removing some bugs (but no real improvements
  • Keeps some improvements to level generation
  • IMPORTANT:  The controls are no longer super janky, but are smooth, accurate, and responsive again.  Basically, this means it is playable in a way it wasn't for a while.

Possible future development could include: More monsters, especially harder monsters for later levels; a level 1 loading screen with the backstory; credits and help pages.  Other possibilities could be full controller support (it now has partial support) and/or an options pages.  A save-and-exist and a campaign mode (its currently has only endless mode) are nice ideas, but less likely.
